Obituary for Shirley A Moberly

Shirley A. Moberly, age 77, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Kettering Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1937 in Hamilton, OH to the late Elgar and Beulah (Statzer) Maxel. She was a 1955 graduate of Eaton High School. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and sewing. Prior to moving back to Ohio the last two years, she and her husband Charles enjoyed living in Florida for 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son Danny Joe Moberly, who passed away in 1958. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles H. Moberly, Sr. of West Alexandria, OH; son Richard (Nancy) Moberly of West Manchester, OH; daughter LuAnn Winings of Lima, OH; son Charles H. (Annette) Moberly, Jr. of Tampa, FL; daughter Tracy Moore of Orlando, FL; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister Phyllis (Dale) Moberly of Eaton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Eaton First Church of God, 601 East Lexington Road, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jack Moore and Pastor Jonathan Grubbs officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, June 30, 2015 from 4 8 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
