Obituary for Sharon Kay Allen

Sharon Kay Allen, age 78, of Eaton, OH passed away on Thursday, February 08, 2018 at her daughter’s residence. She was born November 25, 1939 in Dayton, OH to the late Charles R. and Ruth Naomi (Shank) Smyer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brother Jerry Smyer; daughters Wendy Allen, Kelli Jo Allen and Brenda Sue Smith; infant grandchild Charles Allen; and former husband Floyd Allen. She is survived by her children Larry Allen of Kettering, OH and Linda DeCarlo of Eaton, OH; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Beechwood Church of God, 12800 State Route 122, Camden, Ohio 45311 with Pastor Gary Agee officiating. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
