Obituary for Marjorie Jean Johnson

Marjorie Jean Johnson, age 89, of Eaton, OH went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Vancrest Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born March 25, 1928 in Preble County to the late Ingle and Edith (Dennison) Gardner. She was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren; and retired in 1983 after almost 20 years of employment as an Operator with the United Telephone Company. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers Cecil Gardner and Kenneth Gardner; sisters Pauline Foust and Hazel Christ; and great granddaughter Amanda K. Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Willard Lloyd Johnson of Eaton; daughter Diane (Ray) Ross of Eaton; sons Richard (Pam) Johnson and Eddie (Kathy) Johnson both of Eaton; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
