Obituary for Judith A. Klapper

Judith A. Klapper, age 81, of Camden, OH, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford. She was born February 18, 1933 in Eaton to the late Stanley and Florence (Walkie) Campbell. Judy was a 1951 graduate of Eaton High School; was a member of the Jolly Circle Club of Eaton for many years; was the former owner/operator of Don & Judys Restaurant in Camden; she retired as a bank teller from First Financial Bank of Camden with over 35 years of employment in banking; and she was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Duke University fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don L. Klapper of Camden; children Mike (Cindy) Klapper, Rick Klapper, Diane (Ron) Hale and Mark (Mori) Klapper, all of Camden; grandchildren Ryan (Nicki) Klapper of Eaton, Mandi (Brian) Studebaker of Eaton, Austin (Lacy) Klapper of Camden, Kristin (Kyle) Taylor of Eaton, Ali (Kurt) Schulze of Dayton and Bart (Kayla) Klapper of Eaton; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 North Liberty Street, Camden, OH with Pastor Rick Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, OH. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Camden Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 85, Camden, OH 45311.
