Obituary for Garry D. "Boogey Man" Colvin

Garry D. ‘Boogey Man” Colvin, age 48, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 18, 2009. He was born May 5, 1961 in New Castle, IN. Garry was a truck driver for Brown Transport Inc., West Alexandria, OH. He was preceded in death by his sister Tammy Loy. He is survived by his wife Monica L. (Wills) Colvin of Eaton, OH whom he married April 19, 1980; mother and stepfather Ruth Ann and Robert Loy of Arcanum, OH; son James (spouse Leann) Colvin of West Alexandria, OH; daughter Tabitha (spouse Carter) Williams of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Michael Colvin, Preston Colvin, Paige Hudgel, Peyton Hudgel, Aiden Colvin, Serphim Williams and Avery Colvin; brothers James “Rozie” (spouse Robin) Colvin, Larry G. Colvin and Mark (spouse Amy) Loy all of New Madison, OH; nephew Jared Colvin, nieces Elizabeth West, Cerah Loy and Kayla Loy; great niece Hannah West; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday November 25, 2009 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Rodney Shelley and Rev. James “Rozie” Colvin officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton, OH. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of donor’s choice. Garry was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, granddad and friend who will be greatly missed.
