Obituary for Gale H. Miller

Gale H. Miller, age 88, of Eaton, OH passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Vancrest Health Care Center, Eaton, OH. He was born March 9, 1921 in Richmond, IN to the late Chester L. and Fern (Heywood) Miller. Gale was a WWII Army Veteran; devoted member of the Preble County Honor Guard; longtime Preble County farmer and Funks Seed salesman; and a devoted loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Joanne Headrick; and brothers Glenn, Donald, Bob and Jim Miller. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Juanita (Snyder) Miller of Eaton, OH; son and daughter-in-law Bob and Billie Miller of Dripping Springs, TX; son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Lois Miller of Raleigh, NC; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Gerald W. and Arline Miller of Eaton, OH; sisters-in-law Irene Miller of Eaton, OH and Teddy Miller of California; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton, OH. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 P.M., Sunday, June 7th at the funeral home.
