Obituary for Fannie E. Shull-Shaffer

Fannie E. Shull-Shaffer, age 85, of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Camden and Eaton OH passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the Northside Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL. She was born October 8, 1922 in Gravelswitch, KY to the late Sarah and Cleveland Cooley. Fannie was a longtime member of the Eagles Lodge Aeire #2202, Eaton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband John C. Shull who passed away in 1964, second husband William “Bill” Shaffer who passed away in 1973; son Dallas E. Shull who passed away in 2007; brothers Lucien, Oatley, Clem, Don and James; sisters Sadie, Corra, Mary and Virginia. She is survived by her sons John (Ella) Shull of Oklahoma and David Shull of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren John, Mark, James, Jonell, David and Melissa; nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, OH with a reception to follow at the Big Dawz, North Main Street, Camden, OH. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of donor’s choice.
