Obituary for Emogene G. MtCastle

Emogene G. MtCastle, age 83, of New Paris, OH and formerly of Lewisburg, OH passed away Saturday, November 08, 2008 at the Golden Living Center, Richmond, IN. She was born April 4, 1925 in Darke County, OH to the late Harry E. and Ruby F. (Stump) Hittle. She was a member of the Ideal Chapter #293 O.E.S., Lewisburg, OH and the Rachel Rebekah Lodge #144, Eaton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald Paul MtCastle who passed away May 21, 1987; brothers Dale and Richard “Duke” Hittle; and sisters Geneva Argo and Rosemary Ashbridge. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Steve and Ginny Darland of Springfield, IL; son Rex Darland of Mobile, AL; stepdaughters Joan Pease of Farmersville, OH and Judy Meyers of Brookville, OH; stepson Michael MtCastle of Beavercreek, OH; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friend Sandy Bright, New Paris, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with the Rev. Wesley Stiver officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Faith Baptist Church, National Road, Lewisburg, OH 45338, Rebekah Lodge or the Odd Fellow Home, 404 E McCreight Ave., Springfield, OH 45503.
