Obituary for David Jonathan Touw

David Jonathan Touw, age 55, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born August 9, 1952 in Amityville, NY to the late Arthur and Ethel (Rupprecht) Touw. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Eaton, OH where he was active in and a soloist for the church choir. He participated in clown ministry both in Ohio and New Jersey. He was a substitute minister for the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton, OH and the First United Presbyterian Church in Camden, OH. He was a member of the Republican Party also both in Ohio and New Jersey. He was currently employed at the Time Warner Cable office located in Eaton, OH. He is survived by his wife Heidi Kimball-Touw of Eaton, OH whom he was married to for 21 years; brother Arthur S. Touw of Eaton, OH; brothers-in-law and their spouses George ?Moe? Kimball, John and Joyce Kimball, Paul and Teresa Kimball and Joseph and Rita Kimball; sisters-in-law and their spouses Christine and Will Howard, Mary and Robert Menke and Esther and Phillip Hendrich; god-daughter Melissa VanderGroef; nineteen nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews; and many special friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 P.M., Friday, February 1, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, OH with the Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Friends will be received from 6:00 P.M. until time of services on Friday, February 1st at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Eaton, OH.
