Obituary for Amy R. Lincoln

Amy R. Lincoln, age 91 of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly, Saturday June 5, 2010. She was born May 28, 1919 in Brookville, OH to the John W. and Elizabeth (Spangler) Gebhart. She was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren, Eaton, OH and the Women’s Aglow Fellowship Group. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Hubert L. Lincoln who passed away August 12, 1969; and son P.F.C. Gary G. Lincoln who passed away October 17, 1967 while serving our country during the Vietnam War. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Doyle (Connie) Lincoln of Paris, TN; son Robert Lincoln of Eaton, OH; daughter and son-in-law LuAnn and Mike Loy of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Malia (Ryan Taylor)Rhodus, Kelly (Keenan) McKee, Amanda (Chris) Jimenez, Crystal (Todd) Appledorn, Amber (Scott) Lensch, Laura (Kevin) Ayers, Diana (David) Zerby, Lisa (Darren) Duncan, Gary (Amy) Lincoln, Marcy (Mark) Powers, Ryan (Jennifer) Lincoln, Robert Corey (Carmen) Lincoln; 22 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and special friends Al and Mary Lou DeVilbiss. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Greg Hyre officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the funeral home.
