Wolfe, age 83, of Eaton, OH went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 1:15 A.M. at the Woodland Country Manor, Somerville, OH after an extended illness. He was born June 21, 1926 in Brookville, OH to the late Ivy and Gertrude (Garber) Wolfe. Bob had worked as an independent truck driver for 45 years hauling for Wysong Gravel Company; he was the former owner of Bob St. Clair Gas Station, Gratis, OH; was a former member of the Village of Gratis Water Board; volunteered many years for meals on wheels; and loved to garden and collect antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mila Wolfe who passed away August 1, 1992; and brothers John, Harold, Damon and Oscar Wolfe. He is survived by his special friend, companion and caretaker for many year Jeanette Stamper of Camden, OH and her family; daughter Judy Smith of Eaton, OH; son Kevin D. (wife Tracy) Stamper of Lewisburg, OH; granddaughter Rhonda (husband James) Smith of Eaton, OH; great grandson James Craig Smith of Eaton, OH; brother Lowell Wolfe of Gratis, OH; sisters Velma Long of Franklin, OH and Thelma Cook of Trotwood, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 P.M. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
