Peggy J. Runyan

Peggy J. Runyan, age 87, of Camden, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 26, 1928 in Dayton, OH to the late William Arthur and Cecelia Mae (Whitaker) Pollock, Sr. She was a member of the Northside Chapel First Church of God, Camden, OH; she was a charter member of the V.F.W. Post, Camden, OH; was a member of the American Legion Post, Eaton, OH; and she retired from the Baxter Company in 1989 after 23 years of employment. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Arthur Pollock, Jr; sisters Betty White and Patricia Horine; and grandson Jason Allen. She is survived by her daughter Diana Durrough of Eaton, OH; sons Jack (Annette) Ford of Camden, OH and Eric A. (Norizzan) Hess of Hamilton, OH; 3 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren; sister Beverly (Larry) Howard of Camden, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 9:30 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor David Oakley officiating.
