Marjorie Ann Ogg, age 86, of Eaton, OH, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. She was born August 28, 1928 in Bath County, KY to the late Earl and Lorena (Clark) Wells. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband Samuel Lee May; brothers Adrian Wells and James Wells; and sisters Helen Kosick and Maggie Arrowood. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Cecil Ogg of Eaton, OH; daughters LeAnna (Rick) Porfidio of Bloomington, IN and Allison (Chris) Ditmer of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Amanda Porfidio (Bill) Bowers, Samuel Redfeairn, Christina Porfidio and Timothy Ditmer; great grandchildren Luke and Samantha Bowers; and several nieces and nephews. Ann was born in Kentucky and moved to Dayton, OH where she married Samuel Lee May in 1949. Ann and Lee were blessed with two daughters. The familys early years involved moving to Dayton, to Minneapolis, to Indianapolis before settling in Richmond, IN, where Lee and Ann owned an office machine store on the Promenade. In 1972, Lee passed away from lung cancer. Ann sold the business and began working at Kmart. In 1974, Ann and Cecil were married. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton and Order of Eastern Star. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH. Memorial Contributions may be sent to the church.
