Marion J. Burch

Marion J. Burch, age 83, of West Manchester, OH passed away on Saturday, August 01, 2015 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. He was born on November 4, 1931 in Eaton, OH to the late Myron and Maude (Voss) Burch. Marion was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War; he was a member of the American Legion, West Manchester, OH; was a member of the Ohio Highway Patrol Auxiliary; and he retired after 43 years of employment from the Parker-Hannifin Corporation. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Howard and Donald; sister Carol Milanese; and twin sister Marilyn Bresher. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia R. (Williamson) Burch of West Manchester, OH; sons: Timothy Burch and wife Melinda of Knoxville, TN, Gregory Burch of New Paris, OH, Dennis Burch and wife Jennifer of New Paris, OH and Robert Burch and wife Catherine of Middleburg, FL; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street Eaton OH.
