Marion E. Ballinger, age 85, of Hamilton, OH died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at The Greenbriar in Eaton OH. Born on October 28, 1929 in Rockcastle County, KY, he was the son of the late Eddie Lee and Lona (Abney) Ballinger. He retired in 1994 as a truck driver for O.C. Adams Trucking in Fairfield, OH. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, OH. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Preceded in death by his wife Alice (Taylor) Ballinger in 1995; eldest son Kenneth L. Ballinger in 2001; brothers: Leonard, Casper, Mitchell, Virgil, Charlie, Dennis, Roy, Robert, Hobert, Joe and Ed; and sisters: Edith, Myrkie, Mary Lou, Dorothy and Betty. Survived by his sons: Keith Ballinger and wife Betty of Eaton, OH and Gary Ballinger of Middletown, OH; daughter in law Sue Ballinger of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Michael Ballinger of Eaton OH, Brent Ballinger and wife Jenny of Eaton, OH, Kyle Ballinger and Dylan Ballinger both of Kansas City, MO; great grandchildren: Brayden and Brooklyn Ballinger; half-brothers: Bobby Lee and Billy Ray Ballinger; half-sisters: Belle Pigg, Linda Montjoy and Evelyne Rusk; sisters in law: Sylvia Mercer of Eaton OH, Alice Ballinger of Camden OH, Hazel Ballinger of Ross, OH and Betty Ballinger of Eaton OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:30 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street Eaton OH with the Pastor Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. The family would like to thank all the kind and loving aides, nurses, doctors, therapist and staff members at Greenbriar for taking such great care of our father and grandfather.
