Marie O. Gebhart

Marie O. Gebhart, age 85, of Lewisburg, OH passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton, OH. She was born July 13, 1929 in Brookville, OH to the late Gilbert and Della Mae Focht. Marie graduated from Lewisburg Union High School; she was a member of the Eastern Stars; she enjoyed taking care of her great grandchildren; and was an avid quilter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband David E. Gebhart in 1993; her son-in-law Harold R. Horn in 2013; and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Ann M. Horn of Lewisburg; son Steve (Becky) Gebhart of Lewisburg; daughter Rita (Mark) Madigan of Lewisburg; grandson Lukas (Melany) Madigan of Lewisburg; great granddaughter Alexis Nikole Madigan and great grandson Sean Patrick Madigan both of Lewisburg; sister Carol Cotner of Eaton; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
