Judy M. Eby

Judy M. Eby, age 73, of Middletown, OH and formerly of Eaton, OH passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Otterbein Senior Living Community, Franklin, OH. She was born March 1, 1942 in Eaton to the late Russell and Myrtle (Bowers) Smith. Judy worked for many years as a seamstress at the Clifton Shirt Factory in Eaton; she was a member of the Greenbush United Methodist Church, Somerville, OH where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school class; she was a former girl scout leader; was an avid fan and collector of Elvis Presley; and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence David Eby, Sr., who passed away in 2010; and five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son David (Anita) Eby, Jr. of Eaton, OH; daughters Anita (Kevin) Ferguson of Middletown, OH and Laura (Shana) Eby of Middletown, OH; 4 grandchildren: Elizabeth (Phillip) Pambrun, David (Jennifer) Eby, III, Danielle Ferguson and Ashley Ferguson; and sister-in-law Linda Smith. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Candace Jerew officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH.
