Josephine "Jo" Lawson

Josephine Jo Lawson, age 89, of Camden, OH, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN with her family by her side. She was born April 11, 1925 in Morgan County, KY to the late Andrew and Easter Phipps. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Middletown, OH. She was a retired bookkeeper with 50 years of employment from Armco Company, Packaging Corporation and the Hatfield Coal Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl J. Lawson, who passed away March 25, 2013; brothers Harry and Walter Phipps; and sister Roxie Darrell. She is survived by her sons Timothy (Kathy) Lawson of Germantown, OH and Terry (Robin) Lawson of West Elkton, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Father J.
