Joan M. Winter

Joan M. Winter, age 86, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Vancrest Nursing Center, Eaton, OH. She was born December 31, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Archie and Marie (Mussehl) Cragg. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Eaton, OH. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward L. Winter of Eaton, OH; son Jonathan (Charla) Winter and granddaughter Shannon Winter of Eaton, OH; son David (Wanda) Winter of Eaton, OH; sister Sharon (Ronald) Lentzkow of Independence, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Lutheran Drive, Eaton, OH. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
