Burtia Elizabeth Hornsby

Burtia Elizabeth Hornsby, age 83, of Camden, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Huntington Court Nursing Home in Hamilton, OH. She was born in Rock Castle County, Kentucky on September 24, 1930 to the late Carl and Beulah (Coffey) Martin. In addition to her parents, Burtia was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Hornsby; and brothers Eddie Martin, James David Martin, and Nathan Martin. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Walter, Pamela Colwell, and Daniel Hornsby; sisters Francis Still, Darla Faye Gyer, Paulette Perry, and Celia Martin; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. No visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery, 4570 Trenton-Oxford Road (State Route 73), Hamilton, OH, with Pastor Marvin Hockor officiating.
